Mary C's Story

My name is Marybeth Hill and I'm the eldest daughter of Mary C. Hill [nee NOLAN] Class of '55. While reviewing my own Classmates account, I noted that my mom had one too. Sadly, my beloved Mom passed away 5 years ago in April 2008 after a very short, but brave battle with Pancreatic cancer. She lived with me and my daughter and we still miss her very much and cherish her memory each day. She raised four children to adulthood after being widowed at a very...Expand for more
young age when my father, Jack T. Hill passed away. She was a fabulous mom and my ultimate role model overcoming many obstacles and tragedy. She told me wonderful stories of her growing up in Irvington and Newark, shopping in downtown Newark, dances, parties, dates, and the many people from her youth. Anyway, I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone wondered why she never responded or has been in touch. I wish you all good health & happiness!
